Education is the key to sustaining the quality of life and the betterment of our communites that cities and towns across the country are dedicated to make happen. It is with this reason and the passion for working with young people that I pursued my teaching career over 10 years ago. Combine the fervor for seeing young people succeed, my strong fondness for business, careers, and technology and that equates to a career that I love waking up to every morning.
This site was created to provide news, articles, links, and other pertinent information about the happenings taking place in career and technical education throughout the United States. As for me, I am a high school business education teacher who entered teaching in a non-traditional way. My philosophy on education is that today's educational needs should focus on the demands of the job market as well as the demands of higher education. It is my belief that students should be life-long learners in any endeavor they choose after high school and that maintaining up-to-date career skills are vital to sustaining employment in today's global economy.
